"Join Community Arts Programmer Jennifer Droblyen for a fascinating tour of ""Composing Color: Paintings by Alma Thomas"" at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. This exhibition highlights the evolution of the artist’s process of representational early works to creating vibrant abstract pieces after retiring from a 35-year career as a Washington DC public school teacher.
