Jazz Age Illustration is the first major exhibition to explore the art of popular illustration in the United States from 1919 to 1942. This ambitious exhibition draws from the extensive collection at DelArt, supplemented by select loans, to showcase the vibrant visual culture that emerged at the end of World War I—a time of significant social change and cultural dynamism. The exhibition features more than 100 works of art and dozens of publications by renowned artists such as Aaron Douglas, John Held Jr., Neysa McMein and Frank Schoonover. Lunch choices are Kaffeina Ham Sandwich, Curried Chicken Salad Sandwich, Caprese Sandwich or Vegetable Quiche.
